Happy 2013

2013
2002
Everyone's weight loss journey has a story. My story is that of a young woman who was never really 100% sure of herself. I was always battling an issue of worthiness. It began as early as 9 years old, I was wearing an A-cup bra and 5'5 the other girls and boys in school, thought I was a freak of nature. As a young teen, I rarely was told I was pretty from my parents( however, in the event they ever check out this blog, they loved me very much!) The only time, I was given any type of compliments were from guys I was currently dating ( which by the way, they were also quick to tear me down as they were exiting my life). Also, my father and sister were athletes, so my sister was always encouraged to train and workout. I never was encouraged to instill any type of physical workout or training routine. Needless to say, I went on as an adult, ate like a 6'5 basketball player and chose not to workout.  As the years passed by, I continued to gain weight.

Here is the absolute truth about myself
Height: 5'8
Weight: 233 pounds
BMI: 35.4 (Obese)

I've decided to do something about my weight gain. To anyone reading, the only thing permanent in this life is your body's physical death. I believe I can turn this around. No matter what your story is, you can turn it around as well!

My First Two Week's Plan
  •  I signed up for an online food tracker ( LiveStrong.com- My Plate- Icon on how many pounds loss will be at the top of the blog) I will track everything I eat and any exercise that I do.
  • My calorie balance ( how many calories I'm allowed to intake per day is 1617 ( the site will adjust these as I loose weight)
  •  Walking routine of 2 miles on 3.0 incline at a speed of 3.4 (3x per week for the next two weeks)
